Four years later, he’s a senior software engineer who runs an LLM-powered search engine with half a million sheet-music scores, and as the result of his bachelor’s thesis, he has a UUID benchmark paper headed for EDBT. I sat down with him for the latest interview in the series. We talked about the pivot itself, what joining a three-person Rails team taught him early on that no big company could, and what he’d tell juniors entering software today.
